Only Actual Female Humans Can Have Human Babies

July 20, 2026

There seems to be much talk currently about sexual orientation and expression. The LGBTQ++ acronym stands for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transexual, and queer, and the “++” stands for other sexual identities, such as intersex, asexual, pansexual, etc., and other claims of sexual identity. This article is intended to state the truth about human sexual orientation as God intended it.

God created two human sexes ONLY, male and female (Gen. 1:27, 5:2). He told them to have sexual relations to fill the earth with their own kind and to have “dominionover every living thing…on earth” (Gen. 1:28). God planned that the female would have human babies (Gen. 3:16). And only human females can have human babies. Human males are the only creatures that produce human sperm. Human male sperm is the only sperm capable of fertilizing human eggs (ovums). Only a human female has a uterus within which the human embryo (a human female’s egg that has been fertilized by a human male’s sperm and is growing) attaches and grows.

Due to the Fall that God cursed the world with (Gen. 3:22-24), disorder entered the perfect creation God made, making it difficult and puzzling for human beings (Rom. 8:20). This resulted in anomalies and irregularities in human birth caused by corrupt human bodies. Consequently, some human beings were born with abnormalities of the sexual organs, for instance. Also, some people were born with minds that were not normal. This includes those men who think they are women and those women who think they are men, or humans who like the same sex. Those human beings born with these imperfections are abnormal. Their imperfect state should not be considered normal.

Because a person is born with some abnormality, it does not mean that God’s design is in some way negated (Ps. 139:14). Someone born deaf and unable to hear, for example, does not mean the hearing God gives to most people is defective. It is NOT less than “very good” (Ps. 139:13), and it is NOT a punishment for one’s sin, but these abnormalities in human beings are the result of original sin and the Fall that God cursed the world with. The cursed and corrupt human body was unable to produce a normal human birth every time.

We should have compassion for anyone born with an imperfection and do our best to help them through it. However, no one should make this sort of anomaly the norm for other people.

I wrote about human conception in a previous article on this blog entitled “Some Thoughts About Abortion,” which I recommend that each of you read. Dr. Jerome Lejeune, a world-renowned geneticist who discovered the genetic cause for Down syndrome, speaking before a committee of the Canadian Parliament, discussed the proof of human life beginning at conception when he wrote:

We know beyond any possible doubt that when the sperm enters the ovum all the information required to make a human being…is present. We also know, with the same degree of certainty, that no subsequent genetic information, after fertilization, is passed on to a human being.

This is neither the opinion of a moralist nor the hypothesis of a metaphysician, it is a very specific observation made in the course of experiment. If it were not true that all the information required to define each human being is present at fertilization, In-Vitro Fertilization would not be possible. If a human being did not exist at fertilization, it would be impossible for a sperm to enter an ovum in a test tube and for the embryo that may result to be transferred to a woman who is not the biological mother. In other words, the fact that In-Vitro Fertilization exists proves, beyond a doubt, that human life begins at fertilization.[i]

Conception, therefore, is achieved at fertilization between a human male and a human female, and that is the only way to produce new human beings.

CONCLUSION

Only a female human who has a uterus can have a human baby; only a female human can produce a human egg (ovum); only a human male sperm can fertilize a human female egg (ovum). The human being conceived when a human female egg and a human male sperm combine for fertilization can attach to and live in a female uterus. Only a female uterus can produce a human being at birth.

Consequently, the birth of a human being requires both a human female and a human male to produce the necessary ingredients for fertilization. So, the only two sexes that God made at the beginning of His creation, male and female, are required for human childbirth.

Men liking men, women liking women, men and women liking both, men trying to become women, and women trying to become men, or any other sexual identity besides the normal male and female human that God made, is abnormal and should be treated as such.

That’s the way God made it, that’s the way God intended it, and that’s the way it is.
