INTRODUCTION
Created beings commonly called extraterrestrials or aliens from other planets, and their vehicles, are not mentioned in the Bible. We can know expressly and impliedly that God did not create them, since the Bible is the only revealed word of God.
The President of the United States of America, Donald J. Trump, recently ordered every relevant federal department, including the Department of War, to make public all information about “alien and extraterrestrial life, unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP [sic]), and unidentified flying objects (UFO [sic]), and any other information connected to these highly complex…matters.”
He is the only president to turn over everything the government has regarding possible extraterrestrial visitation of this planet. However, if he thought that any of this information contained truth about extraterrestrial visitation, he would not make it public.
People from all over the world will play with this information. Many believe there are extraterrestrials in this universe. However, a genuine Christian cannot believe in such things. Yes, that’s what I said. Christians cannot believe that there are any living creatures in this universe other than the angels and demons (which, of course, are fallen angels), the resurrected Jesus Christ, and the human beings who inhabit Earth. If extraterrestrials exist, no one can believe in God, the Bible, or Christianity.
UFOs, UAPs, and aliens are not expressly nor impliedly mentioned in Holy Scripture.
LIFE ELSEWHERE
God has developed no such plan for other beings, nor is He concerned about any other life forms anywhere else, because such do not exist. If they did, He would inform us in His revealed Word.
There is never a mention in Holy Scripture that there is life anywhere else except for God, Jesus, and the Angels. Never does God mention in His revealed Word that there is life of any kind on any other planet.
WHY DOES NO LIFE EXIST EXCEPT ON EARTH
Readers of the Bible are told in the book of Matthew that when Jesus comes the second time, “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken” (Matt. 24:29). This verse makes it clear that there is no intelligent life anywhere else in this universe because for one thing, the destruction of the heavenly bodies would kill all life if it existed and God who is a just God wouldn’t do that. The sun will stop shining, and since the moon will no longer reflect sunlight, it will not be lit. The stars, which include the planets, will fall. Thus, there will be no light except the light of God. And the power of all heaven will be shaken.
If there is no sunlight or moonlight, and if all the heavenly bodies lose their power and fall and are annihilated, there can’t possibly be life other than the life on earth. God would not allow that if there was life elsewhere in the universe. If there were life elsewhere, it would be snuffed out. Then why have life elsewhere in the first place? No life exists anywhere but on Earth.
CONCLUSION
The triune God of Christianity, who is self-existent and not created, is the only God that exists anywhere. God created the angels in heaven, the heavens and the Earth, and every living thing that inhabits the heavens and the earth, including humankind. If God had created any life forms elsewhere, He would have told us in His revealed Word.
Christians can be certain that there are no life forms anywhere else (Matt. 24:29). Therefore, genuine Christians do not believe in UFOs, UAPs, or any alien or extraterrestrial beings.
So Christians, if they hear discussions about these things, they should say that the Bible is clear that such things do not exist and go on about their business.
God intentionally created the earth with a purpose, and He intended it to be inhabited. He talked of no other intelligent beings except the angels and human beings. God never included discussions about UFOs, UAPs, and visitations from other planets—SO, WHY SHOULD YOU!
